2023-2024 Annual Report

The Lancashire Violence Reduction Network have released their annual report which details the partnership’s achievements and key milestones from the past 12 months.

The publication also highlights the VRN’s commitment to funding a range of community safety initiatives.

Highlights detailed in the annual report include:

  • Delivering Trauma Informed basic awareness training to over 5,000 professionals across Lancashire.
  • Hosting their first ever Hope Hack involving over 85 young people from across the county.
  • Recovering over 2,200 knives from the streets as part of their work with Lancashire Constabulary.
  • Launching a smartphone app for young people to access support and information.
  • Supporting over 2,000 young people who were at risk or involved in violence.
  • Funding almost 20,000 hours of additional policing activity in hotspot areas.

This report is a way to showcase the work of the Violence Reduction Network and provide visibility to partners and members of the public to see some of the work being delivered in Lancashire to prevent serious violence.
