Each year, the Violence Reduction Network (VRN) produces a Strategic Needs Assessment (SNA), this involves local partner organisations working together to assess the current and future health, care and wellbeing needs of Lancashire. This report then informs decision-making and helps partners to agree on priorities and allocate resources.
This needs assessment includes the following areas of information:
• Key findings
• A demographic overview of Lancashire;
• Epidemiology* of risk and protective factors for violence in Lancashire;
• A violent crime problem profile for Lancashire;
• Interventions and evidence to prevent serious violence;
• Recommendations.
The full assessment can be viewed here.
